This is my favorite quote in the book because it is so gripping and intriguing. When I first read this I did not completely under stand it took me a couple of times to read it before I understood it. Then I understood what it was. I like it so much because it grips the reader and it is sweet and short. There is also a longer version of this saying but it is not as good as this one

LORD OF THE RINGS THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING
I choose this book for many reason one of them being I have seen the movies and I really enjoyed them. I wanted to read the books to see if they were anything alike so far the book has been quite good I am happy with it. It has a lot more detail then the movie and I like that, I already understand the book more than I understand the movies. I have never read a book this big before…it should be interesting.

What emotions did the book invoke…
This book has invoked many emotions most of them being scary to a point. Others being somewhat sad for what is about to happen to all of middle earth. Some of the scary parts are when the dark riders are in the small settlement of bree and are looking for the hobbits. but the hobbits cleverly hide in an inn and make a booby trap for the dark riders.
Do I have any questions reading log 4
Yes and no I have understood the book very well and I like but there are some parts that do confuse me like when they are explaining how the ring came too and where it came from I did not completely understand that part of the book.And i do not understand when the first battle happen and when one of the men kings killed a dark rider.

Yes I would read more books by this author. I have already seen the movies based around this book. Called the lord of the rings they are very good aswell. I am planning on reading the other books in this series if I ever complete this one. the movies are not completely like the book because they do not include some of the important details that the book does include that is why i like the books more.

By far my favorite line in this book is one ring to rule them all one ring to find them one ring to bind them all and in the darkness find them… this was engraved in the side of the ring of power it is only seen by heat. But I think this is a very powerful line in the book.

No I would not read the book again so far it is a good book but I would defiantly change to one of the other books in the series just for variety. But if the book was maybe a little smaller I would read it again.

My favorite character is legolas he is a elf form Rivendell who they meet in there journeys he is a very skilled marksmen and good with swords. He helps keep Frodo and the ring safe. He is also very good at tracking. I do not think his personality is related to any one in real life or the other I think he is just a cool thought up character
Does the use of language confuse me chapter 9
Yes the language is quite confusing. They use made up places names that are quite confusing to me such as mordor or rivendale. They also make some the characters talk funny aswell they make them talk like hillbillies.the author also makes the hobbits have terrible grammar they do not completely complete sentences and do not use proper words.
Is there an idea In the book that makes you stop and think

Yes there is many ideas that make me stop and think one of them is how do they come up with some of the names in the book like mordor it is a very funny name. as well as Rivendell it is also a funny name. i do not know where the author came up with some of the names. mabey from past experience or just plain imagination.
If I were the author of this book I would change some of the names of the characters like legolas and Aragon I would do this so I can say there names easier
DAILY events today i learned about a brother killed his own brother and buried him in a grave yard in Johannesburg. it does not effect me because it is so far away
THE GIVER-After analyzing the books appearance what clues does it give you.
That I might be in our time because of the jet that was flying over the town.
The tone of the book after the listening to the first page
That it is a little scared or worried because the plane flew over the community and apparently air planes can not fly over the town or city.
